Reef-Safe Sunscreen Tip

Many destinations—especially Hawaii and the Galápagos—require reef-safe sunscreen to help protect fragile coral reefs and marine ecosystems. Look for mineral-based formulas with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide and avoid ingredients like oxybenzone and octinoxate. It’s a simple switch that makes a big impact. Pack as little as you can while still having what you need will make travel easier. The less luggage the better.
